Life Science and Engineering Opportunities in Biochemical Engineering
EPSRC 4-YEAR PhD STUDENTSHIPS FOR OCT 2012
Stipends £15,590 (tax free)
Applications are invited for up to 10 prestigious studentships at the Centre for Doctoral Training within the EPSRC centre for Innovative Manufacturing in Emergent Macromolecular Therapies.
The studentships will be based across one or more collaborative partners of the Centre, including UCL, Imperial, University of Cambridge, University of Manchester, University of Strathclyde (Glasgow), Aston University, University of Birmingham.
Research projects will address new challenges in understanding the behaviour of proteins during bioprocess manufacturing, and are suitable for candidates with a good first degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, computer science, chemistry, biochemical engineering, and chemical engineering.
Full scholarships are available to home students and partial scholarships are available to EU students. International students able to provide funding are also eligible.
