EngD Student Ivano Colao wins ECI Poster Competition

UCL Biochemical Engineering Engineering Doctorate Student Ivano Colao (pictured third from left) recently has just returned from the  ECI Scale-up and Manufacturing of Cell-based Therapies Conference in San Diego. His poster titled "Development of Downstream Processing Options for the Commercial Scale Purification of Stem Cell Derived Exosomes" won  the Best Snapshot award.

Dr Ivan Wall, who led the UCL delegation, told us “ECI Cell Therapy in San Diego was a tremendous success and very well support by UCL researchers. 

The highlight for the department was that Ivano Colao did a superb job presenting his poster and won the prize for Best Poster Snapshot. This is an excellent outcome for the project and is testament to what a fantastic EngD student we have working on it!”
