Roles & responsibilities
Gareth manages facilities within the ACBE
He has extensive experience in the operation and maintenance of a wide variety of pilot scale process equipment including a variety of fermenters, homogenizers, centrifuges, filtration and chromatography systems.

Research Interests


Gareth’s research interests lie primarily in the area of protein refolding. Specifically the effect of process factors upon protein refolding. 
He also has an interest in pilot-scale verification of micro and ultra-scale work, directly participating in research and facilitating research through training initiatives.

Teaching and Training Activities


Gareth is currently the course coordinator for the following postgraduate course:


•    Pilot Plant Unit Operations

He also oversees the training of persons on pilot plant equipment.
