Arts and Sciences International Symposium

We are delighted to announce that BASc Programme Director Carl Gombrich will be speaking at the International Symposium on Arts and Sciences at Hitotsubashi University on the 20th November. The title of Carl's talk is 'Liberal Education in a Complex World: The Challenge of being Open'. Other speakers at the Symposium include Susumu Yamauchi (Hitotsubashi University), Frances Cairncross (Oxford University), Teisuke Kitayama (Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation) and Tamotsu Aoki (National Art Centre, Tokyo).
