Organised in collaboration withThe Courtauld Institute of Art |
The London Seminar for Early Modern Visual Culture is a long-running seminar series organised jointly by staff from UCL History of Art Department and the Courtauld Institute of Art. The seminar, which takes place at the Courtauld in the autumn term and at UCL in the spring, provides a forum for the presentation and discussion of new research in the broad field of early modern visual culture, enabling exchange between staff and graduate students at both institutions, and with colleagues from further afield. Alongside the regular speaker series, the seminar also organises events such as visits to galleries and reading groups which take place on an occasional basis.
