Britain
Institute staff engage in all aspects of the archaeology of Britain ranging from heritage legislation, conservation and public participation to the academic study of the human past from the earliest human occupation up to the present. Particular expertise can be found in the arena of public archaeology, museums and the contemporary role of sites and monuments. Expertise in each major period of archaeological study from the palaeolithic up to the present complements a range of specialist fields including maritime archaeology, buildings archaeology, field methods and the study of material culture.
