Lucy Trench

Lucy Trench originally studied Italian and History of Art at Trinity College, Dublin. She went on to train as a textile conservator at the V&A before moving into publishing. Initially Editor at the National Gallery, London, she moved on to become Area Editor for Materials and Techniques at the Grove Dictionary of Art before returning to the V&A as Interpretation Editor in 2003. She is now Head of Interpretation at the V&A, responsible for interpretation and gallery text throughout the museum.
