Joanne Rowland (University of Edinburgh) will give a lecture organised by the UCL Institute of Archaeology and the Society for Libyan Studies on 21 May.

Speaker

Dr Rowland has been working in the Nile Delta since 1998 on projects ranging in date from the Middle Palaeolithic and Neolithic to the Ptolemaic and Roman. She is director of two fieldwork projects in the Nile Delta, both under the auspices of the Egypt Exploration Society, the Imbaba Prehistoric Survey and the Minufiyeh Archaeological Survey.

The lecture will be followed by a reception. All welcome.
