History:Henderson/Okasha/1992, 6: `found `resting on the top of stone no. 1 [TULYS/1]' by John Linehan of Ballinaguila, Tullylease. It is not clear when Linehan found this stone but he handed it to Leask on 10 July 1930...Leask deposited the stone in the National Museum on 12 July 1930'.

CISP: The lettering is in Insular half-uncial. The A is in the 'OC' form and the letter T is conjoined with the following letter in a manner reminiscent of many Insular manuscripts. The E and S are angular in form such as on TULYS/1, TULYS/2 and TULYS/5.
