Nash-Williams/1950, 79: 'Sketched by or for Edward Llwyd. Now lost'. Webley/1957, 119: `The author rediscovered the stone while carrying out an archaeological survey in South Brecknockshire. It is sited not on the Ystrad Mountain but immediately below in the Cwm Criban valley'.
