History:Macalister/1945, 229: `This stone, within recently deceased memory, was standing in a field on the townland; but it was broken off from its butt (no longer to be found) and transported to serve as a bridge over a ditch close by. Now lying prostrate in a field on the other side of the ditch from its original side and east of the road'.

OSullivan/Sheehan/1996, 244: `now lies prostrate in the corner of a small field which overlooks extensive tracts of bog to E[ast]'.
