Macalister/1945, 58, `Two lines traverse the inscriptions in the manner of a saltire, with a small cross intercepted between them...The face opposite to the Runic inscription bears a crucifix with some ornament above it, crudely designed and executed'.

Barnes/Hagland/Page/1997, 56: `...the back of the cross has some crude relief decoration, apparently a Crucifixion'.
