Palaeography: | CISP: The lettering is Insular half-uncial. The six A's in this inscription all have squarish bows, and on three occasions the bows are open. The Rs have bifid serifs at the top of their ascenders and two of the minuscule Ns have flat top strokes. The D has an ascender which bends to the left over the bow, and the initial O is larger than the other letters. |
