History: | Okasha/1993, 73: `The stone was first seen by M. Henderson in its present position [built into a barn wall] around 1960, but nothing is known of it before that. It seems to have been used at some time as a gatepost since the remains of two hooks are visible on the inscribed face'. Okasha also states that her reason for dating the discovery to 1960 is that Mary Henderson in 1985 stated she had found it `about 25 years ago'. |
