History:Fanning/OhEailidhe/1980, 9, `Discovered by Mr. T.L. Cooke in 1845 and published by him without an illustration. In 1872 a drawing of the slab apeared in Petrie's Corpus [Petrie/1872, Fig. 55] of inscriptions edited by Margaret Stokes who stated that it was then missing'.

Palaeography:CISP: The lettering is Insular half-uncial. The A is in the 'OC' form and the T, I and H of the second line appear to have wedge-shaped finials. The Hs are minuscule, the Ts half-uncial with curved ascenders and flat top strokes, the R is half-uncial and the P minuscule.
