Student support: the rewards of being a Personal Tutor

Corisande Fenwick was interviewed recently with one of her tutees, Rosalyn Christian, about the rewards of being a Personal Tutor.

The Institute of Archaeology is known and recognised within UCL as having a model personal tutoring system, which has been in place for decades. Student's experience and the support they are given is really important at the Institute evidenced by regular high results in the National Student Survey.

The Personal Tutoring system creates a feeling of community and supports students by taking an active role in their development and future. Institute staff encourage students to be the best that they can be and personal tutoring is one of the forms of academic support that they can provide to enable students to achieve their goals.
