Institute staff recognised in the UCLU Student Choice Teaching Awards 2016
7 April 2016
Congratulations to those Institute of Archaeology staff who were recognised for their outstanding contribution to the learning experience and success of UCL students in the UCLU Student Choice Teaching Awards 2016.
The awards, set up and run by UCL students, are
now in their fourth year. Over 350 nominations were received this year, the
largest number ever for these awards. As in previous years, Institute staff received a
significant number of nominations for these awards - 36 staff were nominated, representing just over 10%
of all nominations.
A number of the Institute's Teaching Assistants were nominated for their commitment to excellence as well as permanent academic and research staff.
Prizes will be formally awarded as part of the keynote for the UCL Teaching and Learning Conference which will be held on 19 April 2016 at the UCL Institute of Education. Matt Pope will receive his Provost's Teaching Award at this event.
Many congratulations to them all on their well-deserved nominations and awards!
