Institute staff win awards for teaching and student support

Congratulations to James Hales, Marcos Martinón-Torres and Judy Medrington who recently received awards for their outstanding teaching and the support they give to students.

James and Judy were winners of the inaugural UCLU Student Choice Teaching Awards.  James received an award for Outstanding Teaching and Judy received awards for Outstanding Personal Support and Outstanding Support for Teaching.

Institute staff had received an unprecedented number of nominations for these awards, which are completely student-led. Read more»

James and Judy received their awards at the ceremony for the UCL Provost's Teaching Awards at which Marcos received a Provost's Teaching Award in the Experienced Academic Staff category. These prestigious awards celebrate those staff who have shown particular commitment to innovation in teaching and whose work has already had significant impact on students. Since their inception six years ago, Institute staff have been successful nearly every year. Read more»
