Forensic analysis of human remains

The Institute of Archaeology currently has a vacancy for a Teaching Fellow in Forensic Archaeological Science (Ref.:1345874). The deadline for applications is 16 July 2013. 

A part-time Teaching Fellow is sought for the teaching and academic administration of the MSc Forensic Archaeological Science. The post-holder with coordinate the running of the MSc programme, including assistance with admissions, academic administration and dissertation supervision.

Applicants will have a degree in forensic archaeology/forensic archaeological science and will have demonstrable knowledge of the relevant literature in the subject area.

The successful candidate will also have experience in forensic archaeology scenarios and current mortuary practices geared to human and trauma identification.

The appointment is available from July for 14 months in the first instance.
