A bumper number of Institute staff have been nominated for Student Choice Teaching Awards reflecting the Institute's commitment to teaching excellence and student support.

The UCLU Student Choice Teaching Awards celebrate outstanding teaching and recognise those that support students in their learning at UCL.  The awards are completely student led – students determine the award categories (Outstanding Teaching, Outstanding Support for Teaching and Outstanding Personal Support), set the criteria, nominate the potential awardees and decide who wins the awards.

The nominees from the Institute of Archaeology for the 2012-13 awards are:

Outstanding Teaching

(11/59 overall UCL-wide nominations)

Outstanding Support for Teaching

(4/20 overall UCL-wide nominations)

Outstanding Personal Support

(4/14 overall UCL-wide nominations)

Congratulations to all concerned! Awards will be made at a special ceremony in July at which the Provost’s Teaching Awards will also be announced.
