Job Vacancy: Teaching Fellow in Museum Studies

The Institute of Archaeology currently has a vacancy for a Teaching Fellow in Museum Studies (Ref.:1339257). The deadline for applications is 19 June 2013.

The Teaching Fellow will work closely alongside the MA Museum Studies coordinator, teaching core and option courses to postgraduate students, supervising dissertations, marking assessments, participating in student recruitment activities, and contributing more generally to museum studies at UCL. This is a fixed term appointment to provide cover for research leave from 1 September 2013 until 31 March 2015.

The successful applicant will have a PhD in museum studies, museum anthropology, material culture or related field, along with good teaching experience at Masters level. Candidates will ideally have professional experience within the museums sector, in the UK or abroad, and a proven track record of high-quality publications.
