Job Vacancy: Teaching Fellow in South Asian Archaeology

The Institute of Archaeology currently has a vacancy for a Teaching Fellow in South Asian Archaeology (Ref.:1420294). The deadline for applications is 20 June 2014.
A part-time Teaching Fellow in South Asian Archaeology is sought to start on 1 September 2014. The Teaching Fellow will work closely alongside the MA in Archaeology and Heritage of Asia programme co-ordinator, teaching option courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students, marking assessments, participating in student recruitment activities, and contributing more generally to South Asian archaeology at UCL.
Applicants will have a PhD in South Asian Archaeology or a closely related field, and a research interest in the archaeology and art of early South Asian religions, urbanism and social complexity, as well as broader archaeological theory and method and with good teaching experience at Masters level.
A proven track record of high-quality publications is desirable.
The post is available for 12 months in the first instance.
