Journal of Conservation and Museum Studies logo

A special collection of papers on Museum Ethics has recently been launched by the Journal of Conservation and Museum Studies.

The journal is publishing a collection of papers presented at a special session on Museum Ethics at the Fourth International Conference on Information Law (20-21 May 2011, Thessaloniki, Greece), including contributions from Institute alumni.

The Fourth International Conference on Information Law was dedicated to Values and Freedoms in Modern Information Law and Ethics. Through a variety of topics the conference attempted to raise awareness and stimulate discussion on the legal and ethical challenges that lie ahead of us in the second decade of the 21st century. Museum Ethics constitute such a key issue in the museum world. This special collection of papers aims to contribute to this discussion.

Any enquiries about the journal may be directed to its Editors Renata Peters and Anastasia Sakellariadi.
