The final seminar in the 2011-12 Institute of Archaeology/British Museum Medieval Seminar Series will be given by Alan Thacker (University of London) on 6 June.
The seminar entitled 'Rome of the Pilgrims: The City in the 7th and 8th Centuries' will take place in Room 612 at the Institute of Archaeology at 5.30pm and will be followed by a summer party in Room 609 (Staff Common Room) and all are welcome!
The Medieval Seminar Series is sponsored by the World Archaeology Section at the Institute of Archaeology and the British Museum.
Attendees are invited to bring news items for announcement before the start of each seminar.
