London Archaeologist Annual Lecture and AGM

The London Archaeologist Annual Lecture and AGM will be held at the Institute on 22 May with a presentation about recent discoveries at Westminster Abbey.
Prof Warwick Rodwell OBE will give the London Archaeologist Annual Lecture 2012 entitled 'The Archaeology of a Royal Peculiar: new light on Westminster Abbey and its furnishings'.
Warwick Rodwell, Consultant Archaeologist at Westminster Abbey since 2004, will reveal how recent programmes of excavation and non-invasive techniques have uncovered exceptional and significant discoveries from a Saxon door and walls to medieval tombs and Tudor towers.
The evening will commence with a wine reception at 6.30pm, followed by the Annual Lecture and AGM. The event is free of charge and all are welcome!
London Archaeologist, published quarterly by the London Archaeologist Association, is essential reading on London’s archaeology, history and heritage.
