Surveying the Knossos valley

Todd Whitelaw delivered an invited lecture on his research at Knossos on the occasion of the recent Annual Open Meeting of the British School at Athens.

Todd's lecture on the Knossos Urban Landscape Project, a collaboration betweeen the British School at Athens and the 23rd Ephorate of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities, was entitled ‘Knossos through nine millennia: preliminary perspectives from the Knossos Urban Landscape Project (2005-2011)' and was presented on behalf of his co-directors (A. Vasilakis and M. Bredaki). Presentations were given at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (21/02/2012) and at the Archaeological Society of Athens (23/02/2012).

The Knossos Urban Landscape Project was initiated as a collaborative project to mark the first century of the British School's involvement in archaeological research at this exceptionally significant site.
