The Institute will again celebrate the CBA Festival of British Archaeology, hosting activities at the Institute on 27 July focusing on 'Exploring Archaeology'.

There will be fun free activities for all ages, including stained glass preparation, making an Egyptian pot, mosaic tile making, ancient animals, cave painting and many more! 

Tours of the Institute Collections will be available at 12pm, 2pm and 3.30pm.

Don't miss this rare chance to explore Europe's largest archaeological institution and interact with some of our 80,000 objects!

Festival of British Archaeology 2010

The Institute's participation in the Festival of British Archaeology is part of its ongoing commitment to public engagement and outreach activities, to provide archaeological opportunities of the highest quality to all, regardless of background.

Events are also due to be hosted by the Petrie Museum and other UCL Museums and Collections.
