Artifact Magazine

Students from the Institute of Archaeology and UCL Anthropology have come together to produce a new biannual publication 'Artifact Magazine'.

Artifact Magazine Issue 1 is now available while contributions for Issue 2 are still being sought. Potential contributors should contact Dawid Kotur as soon as possible for more information.

The inspiration for the venture came on a joint study trip and has resulted in an enthusiastic team of students from both departments producing a full length magazine with articles of interests to both archaeologists and anthropologists.

Issue 1 includes an interview with an eminent archaeologist, an article on Druidism, a guide to coffee and a research article on Late Saxon Church architecture!

Funding was provided by both the Institute of Archaeology and UCL Anthropology to facilitate the production of 150 copies of the first issue and it is hoped that this may be increased in the future.

Any enquiries about Artifact Magazine may be directed to Dawid Kotur. Further information about Institute student activities is available on the UCL Archaeologists's Facebook page.

The Institute of Archaeology and UCL Anthropology have a long history of collaboration and offer joint teaching at both undergraduate and graduate level:
