Institute of Archaeology 75th anniversary in 2012

Details of a dedicated 75th Anniversary Exhibition created by Institute Masters students and an associated performance event are now available.

75th Anniversary Exhibition

Breaking Ground is an exhibition created as part of the Institute's 75th anniversary celebrations and will look at how the people, practices, and ideas of London's Institute of Archaeology have changed the way we explore and understand the past. The exhibition will be displayed in the A.G. Leventis Gallery of Cypriot and Eastern Mediterranean Archaeology at the Institute and will be open to the public from the 10 May.

75th Anniversary Performance Event

Archaeology Showoff is an informal open-mic event for those working, studying or just interested in archaeology. Acts will range from stand-up comedy to live music, all with an archaeological twist! The public event will take place in London at The Monarch, Camden on 24 April 2012.
