Geoarchaeology Laboratory

The Institute's Geoarchaeology Laboratory provides staff and students with facilities for phytolith preparation and sedimentological analyses. The lab is well equipped for research and teaching with a furnace, drying ovens, centrifuge, electronic balances, water still, hydrometers, Endecott sieves, pH meter and magnetic susceptibility meter. In addition there is a large cold store for sediment storage and a sieve shaker and additional furnaces in the Wolfson Archaeological Science Laboratories.
