Key Areas of Interest:
Environmental and ecological ideas and perceptions, wildlife conservation and protected areas, pastoralist land management systems, education especially in cross-cultural settings, history of science specially evolutionary theory.

Current Research/Work: Writing a non-academic book on contemporary worldviews. Working for the Touchstone Trust on education initiatives with Maasai communities in northern Tanzania.

Brief CV:
Brigid trained as an environmental historian in Australia. She taught environmental history, public history and cultural landscape programs at various universities in Australia. After completing the MSc in 2008, she became involved in a Trust working with Maasai communities in northern Tanzania especially in improving schools for children from pastoralist backgrounds. Brigid is currently writing freelance, working on a book while continuing to work with the Trust.
