Our former student Dr Myriem Naji has organised an exhibition: Weaving the Threads of Livelihood: The Aesthetic and Embodied Knowledge of Berber Weavers, at Brunel Gallery, SOAS. This is an exhibition that celebrates the living textile tradition of one region of Morocco: the Sirwa.

If you go to the Victoria and Albert Museum and enter their shop, on the left you will see the catalogue for their new exhibition on Post-Modernism with an essay by Victor Buchli. On the right you will see the catalogue of their new exhibition on The Power of Making with the lead essay by Daniel Miller. This reflects a growing collaboration between material culture studies within UCL and one of the major London Museums.
