Lecturer in Quantitative Methods in Anthropology

There is a vacancy in the department for a Lectureship in Quantitative Methods in Anthropology (Ref:1234295).

The post is to promote research and teaching of quantitative methods in anthropology. The postholder will be based in the Department of Anthropology, and will be expected to participate and contribute significantly to both the Biological Anthropology section and faculty of Social and Historical Sciences more generally. Much of the teaching will be to evolutionary/biological anthropologists and therefore it would be desirable if the candidate has research interests in some area of biological anthropology or a closely related discipline.  They should also have both teaching experience and publications in Anthropology or a related discipline.

The expected start date for this post is 01/09/2012.
