The event will begin on March 8 with a screening of Native Land at the Birkbeck Cinema (41 Gordon Square, London WC1H 0PD). Directed by Leo Hurwitz and Paul Strand, Native Land, which was first screened in 1942, depicts the struggle of trade unions against union-busting corporations, their spies and contractors. The full day symposium on March 9 will take place at the UCL Gustave Tuck Lecture Theater. For further information please contact Dr Schwartz.

Attendance is free but registration is required.
