Annual Dinner 2 December 2014

At the most anticipated event of the UCL Malaysia Alumni Society calendar was hosted at the prestigious Malaysian Petroleum Club and saw 80 alumni and their guests in attendance.

Guests of honour for the night were the UCL Alumni Malaysia's new patron, the Crown Prince of the State of Kelantan (Tengku Mahkota Dr. Tengku Muhammad Faiz Petra History 2011) and Youth & Sports Minister (Khairy Jamaluddin UCL History 1998).

First AGM- 25th January 2014

The first UCL Malaysian Group AGM was held on 25 January 2014 at the KuASH Theatre, Pusat Kreatif Kanak-Kanak Tunku Bainun, Kuala Lumpur.

November 2011 - Pub Quiz

Recently the LSE alumni organized a pub quiz involving alumni from other UK universities. I am glad to say that UCL team (the Boogie knights) won the quiz.

Annual Party - Thursday 26th November 2009, CIMB Bank, Kuala Lumpur

A large gathering of almost 60 alumni took place on 26th November which was kindly supported by CIMB bank. This event marked the formation of the new UCL Alumni Group in Malaysia. The event was attended by Toh Puan Datuk Seri Dr Aishah Ong (Royal Free Medical School Hospital 1969) as well as Sinead Devlin, UCL's Alumni Relations Manager.

Alumni Gathering, 10th March 2009, Royal Selangor Club

A gathering of UCL alumni took place on Tuesday 10th March in honour of a visit by UCL's Pro-Provost for East & South East Asia, Prof. Derek Tocher. The renouned international speaker, Mr Mathias Gelber, recently voted the 'Greenest Man on the Planet' gave a presentation which was very well received and the group had a great evening.

Welcome Back Event, Kuala Lumpur, Thursday 13th November 2008

A small group of UCL alumni gathered poolside at the Hilton Sentral, Kuala Lumpur to share food and drinks on 13th November. There was a lot of lively discussion and plans were made for the formation of a UCL Alumni group in Malaysia.
