The Seoul Show 2013 by the Bartlett Alumni Korea - 25 May 2013
The Bartlett Seoul Show 2013 was held by UCL Bartlett Alumni Korea at Seoul Citizens Hall Gallery of Seoul City Hall between 25 May and 31 May, 2013. This was the first exhibition in Korea hosted by the Bartlett Alumni Korea. Thirty seven graduates and students showed innovative drawings, models, devices, texts, animations and installations. The exhibition was sponsored by the British Council Korea and Korea Architects Institute. Seoul Mayor Park Won Soon, British Ambassador to Korea Scott Wightman, deputy director of the British Council in Korea Alison Ball, and Democratic Unification Party lawmaker Cho Kyoung-Tae, and vice-dean of the Bartlett CJ Lim attended the opening in person and delivered congratulatory messages. An audience of over 200 enjoyed the opening party and Pecha Kucha session.
UCL Alumni Korea Welcome Back Reception, Seoul - 9th November 2012

Alumni Korea held the 2012 Welcome Back Party Friday, 9 November, 2012 at
Blooming Garden in Seoul. The party was a huge success that a total of 49
alumni attended the event. The alumni welcomed ten new graduates for this year.
Dr Ivan Wall from UCL Biochemical Engineering
department and Ms Claire Rowlinson from UCL international office, who visited
Korea for 2012 Education UK Exhibition, also joined the party. Dr Wall gave a speech
updating alumni on UCL today. In the event, the first draft of UCL Alumni Korea
constitution was unanimously accepted by the alumni. The official party was
followed by a pub crawl in Gangnam area, which reminded the alumni of typical
Friday nights in London. Several late-comers joined the pub crawl. The crawl had
continued until 3 AM.
Saturday 2nd June 2012 -Summer Barbeque
UCL Alumni Korea held the 2012 Summer Barbecue on 2nd
June, 2012 at “Nanji Camping Ground”
in Seoul. Around 25 alumni showed up to this wonderful event.

Welcome Back Reception - Friday 6th November 2009
The "2009 UCL Alumni Korea Welcome Back Party” was held on Friday, 6 November at Urban Garden in Seoul. 33 alumni attended the party. Professor Seong-Kyu Ha (UCL Bartlett School), Vice-President of Chung Ang University, attended the party for the first time since he graduated from UCL.
One week ago before the party, some of the alumni including professor Youngook Kim of Sejong University (The Bartlett), professor Jeongmook Moon of Hongik University (The Bartlett) and Professor Hyunsong Chung of Korea National University of Education (UCL Phonetics) had a dinner with three UCL delegates, Professor C J Lim of The Bartlett, Ms Penny Zorbas of international office and Ms Anne Moore of UCL Language Centre who attended “The UK Education Fair” held between 31 October and 1 November at the Plaza Hotel in Seoul.
Welcome Back Reception, Friday 31st October 2008, GEKO Bar, Seoul
The Welcome Back Event for new 2008 alumni took place on 31st October at GEKO Bar in Seoul. A total of 35 alumni attended the event and enjoyed meeting each other. The alumni welcomed seven new graduates for this year. Ms Claire Underwood from the UCL international office joined the event and gave a speech updating alumni on UCL today and introduced the alumni mentoring programme at UCL. Many alumni showed their interest in the programme. The event was enjoyed by all attendees.
