Server Hosting

Two new state-of-the-art virtual servers environments have been built in UCL and our users will be able to request the hosting of various services such as applications, databases or websites, accessible from anywhere.

Groups requiring server hosting for applications or databases can request space on the new servers, instead of traditionally buying physical servers. The virtual servers can be made available much quicker than purchasing and setting up separate physical hardware; the price per server is also very competitive.

All data is backed up to industry best practice standards (90 days), and should one data centre encounter any issues, the other will seamlessly take over.
