About AISC
The Advanced Information Services Centre (AISC) was formally launched by Professor Ian Jacobs (former Dean of the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences) on the 3rd August 2009. The AISC brings together IT staff and resources from across the many Divisions and Institutes into one strategic grouping, which was one of the key recommendations of the Biomedicine Administrative Review 2007.
It is the goal of the AISC to become a world class IT support service that is a real asset to its users . It will provide new technical capabilities that enable continuous advances in research and teaching and which in turn will enhance the School of Life & Medical Sciences ability to compete and create positive impact, globally.
