- Undergraduate Open Studios are on Wednesday 14 December between 10am and 4pm
- Graduate Open Studios are on Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 December between 10:30am and 5pm.

Professor Susanne Kord wins 2011 Forum Prize

Prize Awarded to Professor Susanne Kord
Professor Susanne Kord has been awarded the prestigious Best-Article prize of the Forum for Modern Language Studies. The award-winning article is entitled "The Rule of Law and the Role of Literature: Public Debates on Husband-Killers and Human Rights (1788-1845)." It will be published in the January 2012 issue of Forum for Modern Language Studies. The online version (pdf download) was published in November 2011.

Etty is a touring one-woman theatrical play based on the diaries and letters of Etty Hillesum, adapted and performed by Susan Stein. Directed by Austin Pendleton. Using only Etty Hillesum’s words, Susan Stein’s adaptation brings us to 1943 when Etty, a young Jewish woman, is about to be deported out of Holland.
