MiniManuscript May – win a mini iPad!

MiniManuscript - a UCL Advances Bright Ideas award winning business- is the only free, openly editable online database of article summaries. Users write summaries of research papers that they've read; by reading the summaries, you can spend 2 minutes rather than 2 hours deciding whether a paper is relevant to you.
Every MiniManuscript user that writes two summaries this May will be entered into a draw to win an iPad Mini. Write more than two summaries, and each additional summary will give you an extra entry in the draw!

Biotechnology YES

The Biotechnology Young Entrepreneurs Scheme (Biotechnology YES) is an innovative competition for postgraduate and postdoctoral scientists which raises awareness of the commercialisation of ideas from the biosciences. The competition is organised jointly by UNIEI – The Haydn Green Institute and the Innovation and Skills Group at Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC).

Fuselab

£17k Nerve KickStart Competition

Innovative global startups are being invited to tilt at a £17k prize package in the Nerve KickStart competition, run in conjunction with the Nerve conference on disruptive technology in Cambridge from June 25-27.
KickStart is strictly for 'killers' - entrepreneurs whose fledgling ventures deal only in game-changing technology. Entries are invited now from around the world and 12 shortlisted candidates will be invited to pitch to international entrepreneurs throughout the Nerve conference before a final-day showdown for the £17k prize pot.

Cisco BIG Awards

The BIG Awards aims to recognise and support up-and-coming innovators, entrepreneurs and early-stage startup businesses. We are seeking submissions from small businesses and early stage startups which have technology-based prototypes and proof of concepts (PoC) in development.
