About the workshop
This course is designed for anybody who is interested in or already has their own small company and would like to understand basic practical legal issues when owning a business.
Day 1 – Setting up and running a successful business.
Day 2 – Understanding and dealing with intellectual property issues
Day 3 – Drafting and Negotiating Commercial Contracts

About the Course Presenter
The course is run by Mark Anderson and his team at Anderson Law LLP, a firm of commercial solicitors based in Oxfordshire (www.andlaw.eu). Mark established the firm in 1994 after 10 years of working in-house and at a specialist intellectual property law firm in central London. The firm now employs 7 lawyers.
Most of the firm’s clients are technology-based companies and universities, based mainly in the UK but including corporate and university clients in other European countries, North America and Australasia. He is recommended in Chambers Directory as a leading UK lawyer in the fields of life-science transactions and intellectual property transactions. Mark is currently developing a postgraduate course on IP Transactions with the UCL Faculty of Laws. The term and conditions remain same for now.
