For the first time ever, medicine will meet technology in the most unconventional way possible. Jointly funded by UCL Partners and UCL Advances, we are bringing the best entrepreneurs to UCL and we want you to be a part of it. Doctors who have made a retina in a contact lens, stethoscopes in an iPhone and Hips from a 3D printer will be there to give the low-down on taking medical problems, adding some creativity and making a successful business out of it.

The event will take place on the 16th of November, Jeremy Bentham Room, 9AM - 4PM with canapés and a drinks reception afterwards for networking. Lunch and coffee will also be provided.

The morning session will bring you the best entrepreneurs who have taken a medical problem, provided a solution and built a company around it to talk firsthand of their hurdles, mess-ups and provide some sage advice. Lunch time will be a game/challenge taking place in real-time to bring out and cultivate the entrepreneur that lies within you. Bringing to London for the first time, a condensed version of the Stanford University creativity exercise. The 5 pound seed funding challenge. Get excited, because we are giving you 5 pounds to demonstrate why you are the London Undergraduate Entrepreneur of the Year. More will be revealed on the day. The afternoon session is a practical workshop. Where we bring you the best in the field to tell you about patenting, prototyping, VC funding, sales and marketing - essentially a lonely planet guide of your journey from idea to business.

If you're someone who sits in the lecture hall scratching ideas into the desk then we want you to come and write on our gigantic wall of ideas and meet people who might just make those ideas into reality.
