Duties and Responsibilities
UCL Advances was launched in August 2007 to enhance UCL’s role as a hub of technical innovation benefitting its status as one of the top 10 universities in the world. UCL Advances, UCL’s centre for entrepreneurship, has been formed to develop new links between UCL and businesses of all kinds, with a particular focus on entrepreneurs and small and medium–sized enterprises. In fulfilling this objective UCL Advances’ activities are based around training programmes and events.
The training assistant will assist with the organisation and delivery of training, creation and distribution of course materials, networking and liaising with customer base, working with external staff in delivering courses, assisting with the London Business School, organisation of the UCL Advances Enterprise Bootcamps.
Experience in Higher Education, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal confidently and politely with enquiries, excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work well both independently and as part of a team required, advanced level of IT skills and ability to work to deadlines.
