Duties and Responsibilities
In fulfilling this objective the HELO Service Assistant will need to provide administrative and finance support to the Service Manager and will be a key member of the administrative team.
He/She will be required to establish good working relationships with Departmental staff with whom they will work closely. In addition to staff within the Department, the role will involve contact and communication with staff from other departments within UCL, students and the general public, and a polite and helpful attitude is essential. The ideal candidate will have an enthusiastic and proactive approach and will be able to work independently as well as part of a small team within a relaxed and friendly environment.
You will work closely on a day-to-day basis with all members of the UCL Advances Team and will need to develop key relationships with staff in other UCL Departments. You must be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, the ability to take on responsibilities and to have a hands-on attitude to the post. Applicants should have a minimum of 5 A-C GCSE passes or equivalent.
