Hours Full Time
Salary (inclusive of London allowance) £32,055 - £38,744 per annum

Duties and Responsibilities
UCL Advances, the centre for entrepreneurship at UCL, was launched in 2007. It has grown to be one of the largest and most dynamic of such centres in UK higher education and its activities include supporting student-led businesses, academic training, CPD for entrepreneurs and outreach. In 2010/11, it delivered some 2,500 student training places and worked with over 200 entrepreneurs and small companies, making it one of the largest such centres in Europe.

Finance Administrator will need to provide finance support to the Departmental Administrator and the Director of Enterprise Operations and will be a key member of the administrative team. He/She will be required to establish good working relationships with Departmental staff with whom they will work closely. In addition to staff within the Department, the role will involve contact and communication with staff from other departments within UCL and students and the general public, and a polite and helpful attitude is essential. The ideal candidate will have an enthusiastic and proactive approach and will be able to work independently as well as part of a small team within a relaxed and friendly environment.

Key Requirements
The postholder will assist the Head of Department, Departmental Administrator and Project Managers with finance work.  Assist with the production of regular reporting and budgets for internal and external purposes including cash flow, flow forecast, budgeting and reconciliations.
