MATHEMATICS TIMETABLE 2009-2010

Please note correction: all second term maths modules start on 11 January, not 18 January (with the exception of the first year honours module MATH1102, 1202, 1302, 1402, 1203 and ECON1604, which do start on 18 January because of mid-sessional exams for first years).

In 2009-2010 UCL will be using the "Common Timetable", a more structured timetable using standard 2-hour blocks. The basic idea of the common timetable is that modules fit into a standard 4-hour block structure e.g. one block is Monday 9 - 11 and Thurs 11 - 1. If less than 4 hours is required, some subset of this block is used. There are five morning blocks, consisting of two separated 2-hour sessions, and four afternoon blocks (one 4-hour session), although it has been agreed that we can split some afternoon blocks. An on-line UCL timetable is now available at http://www.ucl.ac.uk/timetable. This will contain full information about rooms, etc, and you will be able to see your individual timetable, make a custom timetable to see effect of option choices, etc. For more details about this please see ONLINE TIMETABLE INFORMATION.

Please note that college system of weeks starts with week 1 at the beginning of Sept, so week 5 is the start of term (week of 28 Sept), week 6 is the first teaching week (week of 5 October), etc
