Information for Prospective GraduatesHow to ApplyApplications can now be made online - please see the webpage http://www.ucl.ac.uk/prospective-students/graduate-study/graduate-study/application-admission. The UCL Admissions and General Enquiries Office may be contacted by e-mail (admissions@ucl.ac.uk), telephone (020-7679-7742/020-7679-7381) or fax (020-7691-3112). Applications may be made at any time from September onwards for admission in September the following year. There is no formal deadline although early application is advised as there is keen competition for the limited number of places available. Applications for funding are subject to the award-giving bodies’ own deadlines usually early in July. UCL has recently launched a new applicant portal for post graduate taught and post graduate research applicants (www.ucl.ac.uk/portico), where applicants can: - track the status of their application; Click here to log in to the Admissions Portal. Before submitting an application you may wish to contact one of the departmental graduate tutors informally, Dr J A Talbot (Pure Mathematics) and Professor V Smyshlyaev (Applied Mathematics). Alternatively you may contact directly the staff member with whom you are interested in working. Visit the Research Interests of staff - Pure or Applied - to give an idea of the potential topics and supervisors available.
