PhD Opportunities
Research Area
As a group and a Department we welcome graduate students from the UK and abroad. Each year the Department publishes a list of PhD topics covering a wide range of fields - icy moon-related topics appear under the theme 'Evolution of the Crust & Lithosphere of the Earth & Terrestrial Planets'.
They are also listed on Lidunka's page here. If you see a project that interests you, we strongly suggest that you discuss the project with the appropriate member of staff - go to people to find the relevant contact details. Alternatively, we welcome prospective students that identify their own projects that lie within the research themes of the group.
Funding
Prospective graduate students need to consider how their graduate study is to be funded.
A quota of NERC and PPARC research studentships will be awarded for PhD study after open competition.
EPSRC studentships are available through open competition for Eng D students.
The UCL Graduate School awards a limited number of Research Scholarships annually.
