• The Bentham Project, in conjunction with UCL Centre for Digital Humanities, UCL Department of Information Studies, and UCL Library Services have secured £260,000 funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council’s highly competitive Digital Equipment and Database Enhancement for Impact (DEDEFI) scheme in order to start the Bentham Papers Transcription Initiative 
• Watch Jeremy Bentham: Man and Myth, a film by UCL.
• Two new volumes published: Poor Laws Volume 2 and Of the Limits of the Penal Branch of Jurisprudence.
• The first international seminar of the European Network of Utilitarian Scholars (E-Nous) on "Utilitarianism and Constitution" will take place on 28 and 29 October 2010 at the University of Granada.
• The Bentham Project is pleased to announce that Transcribe Bentham, A Participatory Initiative has officially been launched! Please visit our Transcription Desk and try your hand at transcribing one of Bentham's manuscripts!
