‘Space’ is a complex concept. In this event, Jos will critically examine some of the conceptual models and research methods for understanding the variable effects of physical, hybrid and virtual environments on learning.

She also asks how we might move beyond a centring of ‘effective’ learning environments towards making pedagogic spaces more equitable.

This event will be particularly useful for researchers, policy makers, EDI professionals and teachers.

Please note this is a hybrid event and can be joined in-person or online.
